Terri TeagueEveryone who made it to the Freelance Forum’s April meeting, enduring the “elements” and the traffic (generated by all the happenings in Atlanta that weekend, including the NCAA Final Four) were rewarded with a great presentation by Terri Teague (NewBizTeam). “Make Winning a Healthy Habit” was thought provoking and enlightening. Terri, “Atlanta’s Small Business Coach” led an open discussion about how to identify your processes and create habits from them to maximize your time and increase your effectiveness.

As usual, thanks to Traci “With an Eye” Sampson for posting the event on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and to David Batley for his great photos. Later this month, Ramona Mills will share her insights on our website (thanks, Ramona!).

In May, Shira Miller- an award winning Public Relations and Brand Image expert, will help us celebrate Cinco de Mayo with her presentation, “Five Ways to Harness Your Life’s Passion, Improve Your Branding and Get More Business.” Enjoy a festive atmosphere, Mexican-style spread and your favorite holiday libations, followed by this exciting speaker and program. The meeting hours have been expanded to 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. So come early and stay late!

If you have an idea for a topic or a particular speaker you would like to hear at one of our meetings, please contact Su Berland (su@suberlanddesign.com) or Melissa Heffner (mheffner@secondlookserv.com). And remember: if you want to step up, get involved and get more out of your experience at the Freelance Forum, send me an email (shel@sheltoncochran.com) and I will find a place for you. We can always use the help.

See you in May,

Shelton Cochran
